Other notes: The ‘Dark Green’ arborvitae is an evergreen tree and a cultivar of the northern white cedar. This popular tree is often planted in masse as a hedge or screen. The ‘Dark Green’ has a pyramidal form with dark green foliage. Avoid planting in hot and dry areas as well as near roadways where road salt can cause injury.
