The pagoda dogwood is a common understory tree native to the hardwood forests of our area. It’s tiered and irregular form are visually interesting and add dimension to the landscape. The leaves are green throughout the summer and turn a beautiful red to purple color in the fall. This shade tolerant tree has spring flowers and summer berries enjoyed by birds and wildlife.
