Other notes: A native American Elm with Dutch Elm Disease resistance. It is a clone of the original “Jefferson’ Elm that still stands at the National Mall in Washington, DC. Insignificant green small green flowers appear in spring before foliage emerges. Leaves turn yellow in the fall.
