A medium sized tree with large, unusually shaped leaves. Occasionally found growing in naturalized areas of Minnesota it’s mostly used as a cultivated tree in yards and formal spaces. It has a rounded form, orange fall color, showy spring flowers and round fruit ripening in late summer. Avoid planting in hot and dry locations.

Soil: Sand to loam, moist and well drained
