Who can buy trees in this sale?

  • Only Minnetonka property owners may participate.

 

How many trees can I buy?

  • Up to two trees per property (maximum two properties per person).
  • No limit on tree guards ($3 each) or watering bags ($20 each).

 

How tall and heavy are the trees at the pick-up event?

  • Large shade, ornamental, and fruit trees: 6-12 ft. | 40-50 lbs.
  • Shrubs: 2-3 ft. | 10-15 lbs.
  • Conifers: 3-4 ft. | 60-80 lbs.

 

Can I buy trees for someone else?

  • No. Each property owner must place their own order.
  • HOAs and property managers: If you manage multiple properties or represent an HOA, you may place multiple orders using multiple accounts.
  • Businesses should contact us before the sale if they would like more than two trees.

 

How much do trees cost?

  • $50 per tree (containerized).
  • Tree guards: $3 each | Watering bags: $20 each.

 

How do I order and pay?

  1. Create an account (top-right on desktop or Menu on mobile).
  2. Browse trees and add items to your cart.
  3. Checkout and pay online (shopping cart top-right on desktop and mobile).
  4. You’ll receive a confirmation email.
    If ordering for more than one property, log out and back in for each address.

 

When and where do I pick up my trees?

  • Sept. 18 & 19, 2026 | 9:00 a.m.–noon
  • Shady Oak Beach, 5200 Shady Oak Road, Minnetonka, MN 55343
  • Bring your confirmation packet. If someone else picks up for you, they must bring your paperwork.
  • No refunds for trees not picked up.

 

Can I get a refund?

  • Refunds are available only during the online sale.
  • No refunds after the sale closes or for trees not picked up.

 

Where can I plant my tree?

  • On your property.
  • Plant large trees away from power lines and property lines.
  • At least 10 feet from the road.
  • Call 811 or use Gopher State One Call 3 days before digging or create a ticket online.
