Protect your young trees from deer, rabbits, and rodents with tree guards. They’re an easy, effective way to prevent bark damage and ensure healthy growth.
Use guards on trees up to 3 inches in diameter. For larger or thin‑barked trees, you can connect multiple guards using zip ties. Always install them with the white side facing out to reflect sunlight and prevent frost cracking.
Tree guards should not be used on shrubs or conifers. Use wire caging instead for conifers, shrubs, and multi‑stemmed species such as tamarack, white fir, witch hazel, and red‑twig dogwood.
